Julie Wells,Executive Director.
 
Julie Wells is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor. Before joining Midsouth Internal Medicine/Midsouth Hospitalists in 2009, she was a practicing attorney in DeSoto County.
Nina Henson, LPN
 
Nina Henson, LPN is a graduate of Northwest Community College and is currently pursuing her RN degree. As a physician assistant, Nina plays a vital role in daily patient care. She performs concurrent chart reviews for quality maintenance and outcome management. And she ensures continuity of care by communicating with referring physicians through discharge summaries and direct contact.
 
 
Kimberly Diggs,Billing Supervisor
 
Kimberly is an integral part of the Midsouth Hospitalists Team. In addition to overseeing the billing department, she ensures accurate input of billing information and works as a liason with insurance companies to expedite billing processing and payments. She also assists with documentation and tracking of the Hospitalists' patient encounters.
 
Alecia Williams, LPN
 
Alicia Williamsis a nurse for the hospitalist program.
 
Sharon Coleman, Nurse
 
Sharon Coleman is a graduate from Northwest Community College. She graduated as LPN in 2006.  Working as a post call rounding nurse, Sharon works closely with our physicians in obtaining discharge summaries and data for CMS compliance.
 
Treshina Brownlee,Billing Clerk
 
Treshina handles the day-to-day medical billing procedures, which include submitting proper documentation to insurance companies and federal agencies for reimbursement. She keeps a record of the number of physician encounters. Treshina is also available to assist patients with their billing inquiries.
 
Gail McChriston, Referral clerk
 
Gail McChristian currently serves as a referral clerk for Midsouth Internal Medicine/Midsouth Hospitalists. She ensures discharge summaries of admitted patients are sent to primary care physician in a timely manner. She also acts as a liaison between home health agencies and hospitalist physicians.
 
Amanda Yelverton, Receptionist
 
Amanda Yelverton served as a Receptionist in a noted law firm before joining Midsouth Internal Medicine/Midsouth Hospitalists in 2005. She is responsible for greeting all of the patients, scheduling future appointments, as well as many other duties of the front desk. She also assists in transfers and direct admissions of patients to appropriate hospitals.
