How can I get admitted under Hospitalist Services if I land up in Emergency Room?

Ask the ER physician to contact Hospitalist on call for Midsouth Hospitalists for admission to hospital.

How will my PCP be informed of my admission to Hospital?

After discharge from hospital a discharge summary will be sent to your PCP. Discharge Summary will contain your diagnosis, Test results, discharge medication & other pertinent information.

How will my specialist physician be contacted?

If your clinical condition warrants consult from a specialists they will be consulted. You will be informed and your choice will be honored.

While in Hospital you can ask for Hospitalists coordinator who will be glad to visit you and answer your questions and coordinate with Physicians to explain things better. Please ask your nurse to call Hospitalists Coordinator and fix an appointment if you have questions about your clinical condition
